England and Wales. It is one of the most popular London attractions with
Catholics as well as those with a general interest in the study of
theology. Westminster Cathedral is located in Victoria in central
London. Westminster Cathedral opened in 1905, with work having begun in 1895. The cathedral welcomes tourists of all faiths as well as those tourists that are atheists. The cathedral host mass several times a day, with many tourists keen to experience a mass in these awesome surroundings. The first mass normally takes place at 7:00am.
Westminster Cathedral also allows practicing Catholics to attend confession, with the cathedral’s chaplains and other priests on hand to provide this service. Westminster Cathedral is perhaps most famous for its association with music, with its famous Westminster Cathedral Choir and daily sung mass (the only Catholic church in the world to do so).
