Speakers' Corner, Hyde Park

Speakers' Corner

Speakers' Corner, Hyde Park is the world's most famous speakers' corner. Located in the north-east tip of the globally renowned Hyde Park, Speakers' Corner is an ever-glowing symbol of the great liberty of free speech.

Although Speakers' Corner, Hyde Park is, by its very nature, open to all topics and ideologies, it is most closely associated with left-wing and left-liberal politics. Some of the most famous left-leaning figures of all time have spoken at Speakers' Corner, including Karl Marx, George Orwell, Vladimir Lenin and William Morris.

Speakers' Corner is generally considered to be the paved area of Hyde Park closest to Marble Arch. A visit here never fails to fascinate and charm visitors to the city; indeed Speakers' Corner provides one of the most quirky London attractions of them all.
