Globe Theatre

Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre (officially known as Shakespeare’s Globe) is a reconstruction of the 1599-opened Shakespeare-associated Globe Theatre, which became one of the most famous buildings in 17th century England. The modern Globe Theatre is one of the most popular London attractions with Shakespeare aficionados as well as those tourists that simply wish to engage with this iconic tribute to British history.

London tourists can enjoy the exhibition and tour of the Globe Theatre. The tour takes place on a daily basis, commencing every 15-30 minutes and lasting around 30-40 minutes. The exhibition allows visitors to get a feel for William Shakespeare’s life, the London in which he resided and the theatre which he became so famously associated with.

Shakespeare’s Globe hosts a production season each year, from April to early October, during which Shakespeare’s plays are brought to life in this most perfect setting – a recommended option for any London tourists visiting the city in the summer.
